Kakeeto Siraje is a senior member at ADIL Advocates and is also the founder and Managing Partner of the local office, ADIL Advocates and solicitors. Siraje specializes in Civil and Commercial litigation as well as arbitration matters. He has extensive years of experience in these fields and has lectured on many topics related to litigation matters in Uganda and the broader East African region, both at seminars, conferences and currently as a lecturer of Law at the Faculty of Law with Islamic University in Uganda. As an accomplished corporate lawyer, Siraje has extensive corporate and commercial law experience and both advises and acts as lead counsel to a host of local and foreign multinational clients on a wide range of corporate law matters and particularly in the following fields: real estate law, corporate finance, Islamic finance, oil and gas, energy, offset projects, intellectual property, projects and infrastructure, taxation, agency/distributorship related matters and multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions. Siraje received his law degree from the Islamic University in Uganda in 2008. Siraje’s practice languages are English, Luganda and Arabic.
